That’s why we created the Power of Good program.

This initiative provides eligible businesses with up to 10 hours of monthly bookkeeping and advisory services at no cost — giving you the professional support you need to get your finances back under control.

What the Program Includes

Accepted participants receive up to 10 hours of free bookkeeping and advisory support per month from an Oakton FC professional. This is the same dedicated, experienced service we provide to our paying clients — applied to your business at no charge.

Depending on where your business is at, support may include:

  • Bookkeeping cleanup and organization — Get disorganized or backlogged records sorted and structured correctly
  • Monthly transaction recording and reconciliation — Keep your books current and accurate each month
  • Basic financial reporting — Understand where your business stands with clear, readable reports
  • Advisory guidance — Ask questions and get practical guidance from an experienced bookkeeping professional
  • Accounting software support — Guidance on setting up and using platforms like QuickBooks Online, Wave Accounting, or Sage

Support is tailored to your specific situation. Every business that enters the program works directly with an Oakton FC professional to determine how those hours are best used.

Is Your Business Eligible?

The Power of Good program is designed for small businesses that need professional bookkeeping help but aren’t yet in a position to invest in ongoing services. To be eligible, your business must meet the following criteria:

  • Gross annual revenue between $150k to $2 million
  • First-time participation — each business may participate in the program once
  • Ability to provide required information promptly — a representative from your business must be available to supply all necessary documents and details within one week of committing to the program

Once onboarded, you’ll work directly with an Oakton FC professional who will provide bookkeeping and advisory support tailored to your business. No overhead, no confusion — just the help you need to move forward with confidence.

Program duration is for a total of 10 accounting hours in the calendar month the application was approved. We’ll meet with you first to discuss your situation and establish a support timeline that makes sense for your business.

The program is for small businesses that have reached a point where managing their own books isn’t working anymore — whether due to growth, complexity, an audit situation, or simply not knowing where to start. Eligible businesses must have gross annual revenue between $150k and $2 million and must not have previously participated in the program. If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies, reach out and we’ll help you figure it out.

We work with all major accounting platforms including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Wave Accounting, Sage, and others. If you aren’t using any software yet, we can help you choose and set up the right solution for your business as part of the program.

Absolutely. Many businesses that start with foundational bookkeeping help find that continuing with professional bookkeeping services is a natural next step as they grow. We’d be happy to discuss ongoing support options at the end of your program engagement.

Once accepted into the program, a representative from your business will need to provide all required information within one week of committing. This typically includes basic business details, your current bookkeeping setup (if any), and relevant financial records so we can get started efficiently.
